About dbjc364

I live on 1 acre with my mate-Jim,and a 20 lb.ceramic turtle that I dont have to feed.We are currently remodeling this 1932 house, and property, being organic. Our plan is to plant, and not stop till the fat lady sings. Our current small blueberry orchard now holds 30 bushes-and we estimated will hold 70. Of course on the rest of the property-there's still plenty of room for more.We have a small patch of black raspberry-strawberry,perennials,small shrubs,Lilacs, one Mountain Ash tree,a Comfrey bed of 19. Kiwi is planned as soon as the Pergola gets built.I grew up in a family of 5 kids,on Cape Cod, parents being Diy'ers & avid recyclers,me being in the middle,yes-in psychological terms they call me the problem child.I have one daughter-who is 27,married- with one grandson, who is turning 3, and I am his sitter,3-4 days a week.I am now pushing 50-I work part-time now-self-employed cleaning, demolishing this house, and working the gardens. We are into solar power, and plans to build our own solar hot air collectors are on the list. There aren't enough spaces for me to list the plants../ oh-ya...and I liikke chocolate.

A couple unforecasted pop-up showers,
yesterday. We called it quits when the big black cloud overhead was coming straight at us at 5 pm. It had already been a good garage sale day anyways. Had a big slice of Rosies beef pot pie for supper as my belly was growling and that filled me up. A...

Did my second mow on the
blueberry orchard already. First broccilli plant is in-planted in a coal hod bucket near my flower bed. The old bucket has ready made holes already formed for me.Oh-what the heck,I had some potting soil left in the bag and got bored while doing the g...

And she came out of the gate at a steady
pace, and with the exception of one long lull,{45 min}, she kept pace all day,and did a pretty good opening day for a garage sale. Hubby needed a nap,as he worked on some of the heavier stuff,Dad stayed right with me all day,no nap for him. I was sur...
