Posted pics of almost all my trees and plants. Also added captions. Oh..and I'm still waiting on delivery of the Hass Avocado tree. It's been almost 2 weeks..so, I'm crossing my fingers that this didn't turn into a bad deal...

They really aren't suited for my zone, but they are still living. You have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell

damethod	Jun 20, 2008 \| 4:23 PM PST From what I understand...growing them from seed is troublesome and may be for nothing. The same is true for most fruit trees. With seeds..you never know what you are going to get. A tree produces several fruit with seeds in each. Some seeds will produce more vigorous trees than others. Some seeds may grow and never produce fruit.. It's an unfortunate reality really. It is fun to do(especially with young children)..but, I personally don't do it because I don't want to wait 5 to 15 years to see IF I get fruit. I always recommend grafted trees. Your ensured the same quality fruit as the original tree AND you don't have to wait as long for fruit. My tiny grafted citrus have fruit already on them when I purchase them. Mangos and avocados need to grow for about 2 years before they produce fruit.(The size of the Glenn Mango tree).
