Hubby was home on Friday evening, so he took me out to eat to celebrate our "anniversary week". Hubby's family has a tradition to have a "birth-week", instead of a "birth-day"! That was nice! Saturday evening, we all went to his family's house. His mom and great aunt were putting up corn, so we ordered pizza and took it over. #1 son kept busy taking corncobs out to the back 40 to dump. Dad-in-law found us a "new" freezer! He and hubby picked it up yesterday evening. This week will be spent cleaning out both freezers and then making the change. Lot cheaper than what we thought we would have to spend for a new one. It makes a difference when we pray that the Lord would provide instead of giving us the money that we need to make the purchases needed! The truck's expenses were minimal, the freezer free, and the washer is doing great! He is merciful and does provide!

Mom brought over two 5-gallon buckets full of "transparent" apples. Great for applesauce and applebutter! Will keep me busy the rest of today putting them up.
