The past few days my hubby and I have been prying casings and baseboards and repainting to get it ready for the new stuff to go up. Well....let me first say he does not like that I am in charge..LOL. Oh, its so funny, let me tell ya....If anyone knows anything about removing them, you will know what I mean....there is a process to it only because the amount of layers of paint that have been applied before...well I told him lets do it this way so we don't work ourselves to death. So we are prying and low and behold he gets aggrivated and starts pulling them off angrily. I look over and say you don't want to do that, it will cause more damage to the wall..well don't ya know he did..and yep it made a mess. He said, Honey your gonna be mad! I said nah, I seen it coming. Well...we continue on to the other walls and he does it again, I said that's it! Do something else, and your lucky your not my employee, I would fire you! I am cracking up writing this, because the look in his face was hilarious. A few minutes later he says, do you want me to go pick up some dinner so you don't have to cook and I said no I can still cook. Then I say, why do you think I will poison it for what you did..haha. I guess you would have had to be here to hear it all but my goodness it was so funny. He went outside and started blowing leaves, I felt bad and went out there and said come on, lets try this again. ( I didn't want to do them all). He tried them again and did it again..I looked over at him and he said I'M NOT DOING ANYMORE! I swear if i had been videoing this I would win the AFV. So...we both went outside and played in the leaves, he felt so bad but golly it was funny. I will be plastering tomorrow..I think yall seen that coming, LOL. Oh well, it'll be alright. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and takes some time to play in the leaves.

Bless your heart! I know the feeling though. When I'm right and my hubby is wrong he always says, "I wish you would've listened to me"...lol. thats his way of saying sorry. Don't work too hard and have a great weekend. God Bless!

This tale of woe makes me almost glad that I am disabled and can't get into that hubby versus wifey thing. Sandy and I both call in the professionals. No arguments, just love. Bill Mitchell

Oh Bill, no verses here friend, we do everything in laughter because there are too many other things that must be taken serious. This do it yourself thing that God has given me as a "gift"... I love. When your partner looks at you and says, there is no one else on this earth I'd rather be here with then you, if the world would end...because we'd fight to the end...says alot. I never forgot that.
