Hiya, Im john married to Lorraine for 27 years. We have 2 kids Caroline & Gary who have left home leaving us with our dog, Brandy.
We both love gardening and last year we moved to a lovely flat with two gardens, one south facing and one north. The back was a bit over grown and a 30 year old clematis dominated, The stump was over 6 inches in diameter, so you can guess the size!! I have cut it down but the roots seem to go on forever, still its a challenge and summer is coming too!
My front north, garden is next to a busy road and is always covered with dust, so very hardy evergreens I suspect
