I got productive and planted every single tulip, crocus, and daffodil bulb I've had hanging around for the past year. I'm sure some of them are dead but you never know.
I finally got my garlic in so I will be planting in a couple of weeks. I have garlic bought online and garlic that I saved from the store. I will separate them so I can figure out if store bought really does grow and if so then I will no longer buy online.
Yay for Autumn. I love this time of year. I love the smell of the trees and the air and the foods that come with harvest and I especially love Halloween. I can't celebrate this year because too many people have requested time off for that day and since I am a manager that means I work.I look forward to when I don't have to work nights anymore and I can enjoy my very few holiday of the year that I actually celebrate.

I have a box of bulbs that I need to get planted soon. Just have to figure out where I want them. I know how you feel about working nights, I worked afternoon shift for years, hated it. Felt like I was leading a backward life. I missed a lot of holiday things and family get-togethers. Hopefully you can get a shift change soon.

Yes, it's bulb time again. Before I buy any more, I've promised myself to move the ones the previous owners scattered here and there to bigger groups so they can make more of an impact. I love Halloween, too. You have my sympathy for having to skip celebrating it. I hope you have success with the store bought garlic

i have grown garlic from the store-bought kind before, it works if it is all natural and nothing has been sprayed on it to keep it from "sprouting" in the store....Get if from a place where you know it is all natural and it should work! :-)
