Well we are still trying to recover from last weeks ice storm. It is really sad to see all the broken trees, uprooted trees, damaged cars and homes and I am so very grateful that there were no serious injuries due to the weather and the many accidents in the area.
Then this weekend, we got an additional 7 inches of snow to top it all off. It is a beautiful site! All clean and fresh looking. and then this morning I woke up to frozen fog on top of all the snow and ice covered trees. It is simply a beautiful morning.. however it is very cold.. about 10 degrees the last time I checked.
Hope everyone is having a great start to their week. I am busy with my home business this week. Most of my shopping is done, I might have a few things yet to get, but I have plenty of time because our family Christmas was postponed to the 1st weekend in Jan.. due to the weather, but we have no control over that! Every weekend in Dec has had bad weather of some kind, most because of the freezing precipitation of some kind. LOL

I know how you feel. We here in the deep south hardly ever get snow but ice comes creepin in ever other year or so. It's so eery to hear trees snapping as your sitting in the quiet. Year before last we were without power for a week. Sorry about your trees. Cleanup will be hard too. You are in my prayers. |

I've often wondered if the folks up North have a love/hate relationship with snow. :) It's so good to hear that you and your family are doing ok. Good Luck and take care. |

thank you for your comment...all the best to you too. look out for yourselves in that bad weather. maybe a cheery thought for christmas morning? picked up the phone while it had been ringing..there was a load of crackling and then it went dead on me...... on investigation our very naughty pup had chewed the line as i spoke!!!!!!! i really dont mind if you laugh... merry christmas!!!!
