I don't know if it's me or GG-but my photos keep getting screwed up! This is the back flower bed now. Not too much going on, but come February, the petunias, pansies and snapdragons will fill it up, and by that time, the kitten will be big enough to stay out of it!
This time of year always makes me sad. I hate to see summer go, and hate even more to see winter come. The mosquitoes are Unbearable right now! We have had just enough rain for those devils to hatch, and we're getting more than 100 hits per minute now-they even hover over the animals. (Poor Peanut can't eat them fast enough!) We're going to have a strong cool front come through just in time for Halloween-hope it pushes them out to the Gulf!
I have been planting some of my fall flowers, but I have to be careful where I put them, cause the dang little CAT likes to pounce on them! I have a lot of zinnia volunteers still coming up, but she jumps on them when the butterflies land on them-so I finally just gave up! I did plant some pansies in a pot with Bright Lights Shard. I am afraid the Shard is going to take over the pot, though:
At least the pot is full enough, Itty stays out of it! Our days are cool enough now that the Morning Glory Tree blooms stay open all day. I just love this little tree.
I thought I had lost it last winter, but it finally came back. I will certainly remember to take cuttings in case we have a hard winter again!
The vegetable garden is coming along. I have bell peppers starting to produce again, and about 20 tomatoes on a bush. I'm pulling up the eggplant, and I have the cabbage planted, and still have broccoli to plant (I'm slow). This is the first time I have planted Asparagus (yard long) beans, and it seems like they showed up overnight!
I'm not sure when I am supposed to pick them-they seem awfully skinny! I ate a raw one and it tasted a little bitter, so I guess they need to be on the vine a little longer!

Great pictures of your garden. The yard long beans surely are "long." Let us know how they taste when they are ready to pick and you prepare them. When my brother and sister-in-law were in the Navy, at one of the places where they were stationed -her next door neighbor had yard long beans on her vine and gave my mother some seeds. I remember them growing, but don't remember what they tasted like. Good luck with them, your container garden and your playful kitty.

Love that morning glory tree. Not sure what that is, though. You sure still have a lot of color in the yard.
My kitties used to drive me crazy when it came to the plants. They always love to "help" me plant and then dig them all up again.

Oh, and PS, I have to be careful where my cursor is when I am doing a lot of photos. It does make a difference.

Your garden is still looking great, as for that little 'darlin', try one crushed mothball sprinkled by your plants and see if that helps.

Girl..you never seems to amaze me. YOur yard is pretty. My M Glory tree wasn't full of blooms like yours is. But it was pretty. The frost kinda got it last week. No blooms now. Blessings...reba
