Coral Berry - 
I am raising this one in a pot, but I have a volunteer in the ground near my house that survived the winter. The plant makes the small whitish/yellow flowers that eventually become the berries. The berries last about a year, before falling off. Small birds like the berries. Easy to grow-though I have killed a stem by root rot (just one stem, though!?!

I don't know if the berries are good for anything but the birds. They don't even stain the concrete when they fall-but maybe they don't fall and the birds eat them all! Grown with early morning sun then shady the rest of the day. |
