Some times a photograph needs to be taken at the peak of a flower's beauty. They don't last long or forever, but the pictures do. If you have time, you can place a bench next to a flower and just look deeply into it and appreciate and contemplate it's beauty. But most of us just look around casually as we are working the garden for the next set of beauties. We don't seem to remember how beautiful they were until we view our photo collection. Here are some beautiful Iris that I was enjoying today.

That is so true, Bill, they say stop and smell the flowers, but you have to stop and enjoy them too, I remember doing just that as a youg child, I always looked up close at the blooms
