I've been praying for rain for a couple of months. It has been going around us except for a couple of small showers. I could tell by the black clouds that we were finally going to get the rain I was praying for. We got it and then some. You will have to forgive the blur on the lens.

There was no damage to our house although the garden took a beating and the gourd trellis blew down. We were without electricity until this morning. I had a backup generator that supplied for the refrigerator and freezer. I still thanked God for the much needed rain.

bsmitch	Jul 22, 2008 \| 6:42 PM PST Those pictures of the cabins with trees on them are my neighbors. I had a lot of tree tops down in my yard but not on my house. A good friend and professional tree man will start climbing and removing the dangerous parts of the trees that could still fall and cause injury. He will then cut up the rest that has already fallen. bsmitch	Jul 28, 2008 \| 4:56 PM PST We are total electric at my house, but we do burn bonfires for company once in a while. We already had plenty for that, so I donated it to my neighbor up the road. They burn wood in the winter for heat. You all have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell
