Here is a picture of a yucca getting ready to bloom for the first time. It is over eight feet now. Blame it on Bill's pee.

This next picture of the day lily and a volunteer red lily whose bulbs I dug last fall. I missed this one,

These next two pictures are nasturtiums that I started in the cold frame from seeds.

p>I planted impatiens in tubs that receive only morning sun, They really do well all summer.

indianshadow46	Jun 1, 2008 \| 2:58 PM PST I have a malva..but did not know it was called that. It got 5' tall and covered about 3' wide. Just too big so I cut it down to about 10" now it is almost 2' tall. Hearty plant for sure. Some call it a weed. Well, if so it is one of the prettiest weeds. The butterflies love it too. Enjoyed your pics. Have a good week.

bsmitch	Jun 1, 2008 \| 9:02 PM PST I don't have to be so fancy down here in the country. I get those 20 gallon plastic tubs for $6.00. I drill about 20 half inch holes in the bottom and fill with 4 inches of gravel before adding the soil and compost. The crawfish are purged in another tub. You have a great day and happy gardening.
