Pictures say more then words. This hanging pot of wild flowers survives every winter.
I can't miss a blog without the rock garden picture.

a close up of the tulips.
The kerria are blooming.

I have had kind of a crummy day at work. Came home and tilled, dug, whacked roots etc. ...not any of my favorite parts of gardening, but thought it would be good therapy. Turns out, your pics were the good therapy! Beautiful tulips and irises!!!!! |

That pot hangs there 365 days a year. I planted it 5 years ago with wild flowers from the cliff along the road down to the lake. Your friend, Bill Mitchell |

Answer to grannylee. You know what fertilizer I use. I wrote a blog about it. My urine. I have been using my urine since last fall. I collect it in a bucket in the bathroom and dilute it with water and spread it on everything, the lawn, trees and shrubs, bulbs and plants outside and house plants inside.
