Everyone talks about there compost project, here is a picture of my compost pile.
Here is a picture of the progress going on with my rock garden.
We collect wild flowers off the cliff going down to the lake. Some wild Iris, not yet blooming. Some fern, wild violets, and some wild phlox.
A couple of pictures of the almond bush in bloom.
p>The kerria single, we also have the double next to it, starting to bloom.
The tulips are starting to bloom here and there.
Now, remember the cold frame I built back in the winter. It's working.

nice looking compost.. I'm trying to have a rock garden but I think I killed 3 of them last week! lol goodlooking rock gardens too. |

You have really been working hard! A really nice rock garden going on there. I never knew there was wild iris' .. so wonderful!! Is the almond bush also wild? Great work on the compost. Have a good week. Thanks for sharing. |

Your compost pile looks amazing! Your flowers are great looking too. I had a flowering almond years ago, but it didn't survive when we bulldozed down our old house. I think there might be some at my folks old house place. I need to go get a sprout, I forgot how pretty it is. Yours is a very nice specimen. |

Almond bush! That's what that is lol ... when I was a kid we had one in the yard and my mom never knew what it was, since my great grandmother had planted it decades before my parents ever met. I've wanted one but didn't know what it was! Thanks :) |
