Posting pictures on your blog

There is a way to do this and it is easy. Upload images to Garden Guides into
your Photos album, click on the thumbnail and the larger image will appear then
right click on the larger image and click on properties. A window will open with
the HTML address ( URL) there, make the window large enough to highlite the whole name

Highlite it and Right click on it and click copy. Then when you are writing in
the blog entry window, click the little icon at the top with a mountain and sun.
That will open a window with a slot to paste what you copied from the properties
window. Click on preview and you will see the picture you want in your blog.
Then click OK and your picture is in your blog. That's all there is to it. Test
it out and if it doesn't work, delete it and try again until you get it to work
for you."

So wonderful to have such a patient person on this site. How many times have you told us how to do this. And it works like a charm. One more question though, How do you post a picture, then write underneath it and post another picture. Do you have to do an edit every time. Soaphouse does this so well. Thanks again Bill. I open two separate Garden Guides. One, I'm writing my blog, the other one is open to my album. I minimize one I'm blogging on, while I retrieve the HTML address of the picture I want to post.After I have highlited and copied, I minimize that one and open the other one and post it to my blog I'm writing in. If I want several pictures, I toggle back and forth, from one to the other until I have all my pictures in the one blog. I know it seems difficult, but it is really easy. Thanks Bill I have it down on paper now. I just love a good paper trail. Now if I could just make myself as organized as the young lady that did the spreadsheet I would be in business. I can't even remember to write things down in my spiral notebook that even says 'gardening journal' on the front. Oh well, things will grow no matter what I write down. Linda B |
