Debstr	Feb 5, 2008 | 6:30 PM PST Hey Bill - Haven't been to New Orleans myself but I do know it's Fat Tuesday .. I made this shrimp/rice dinner with Oregano I grew last summer! so what does Lessez le bon ton roulles mean? Debbie in IL :-)
bsmitch	Feb 6, 2008 | 5:42 AM PST Lessez le bon ton roulles is Cajun french for "let the good times roll" and it does roll in New Orleans during Mardi(Tuesday) Gras(fat) and all year long. I love to cook Cajun, gumbo, jambalaya, and fried alligator tail. Check out my picture with the alligators in my album. They were caught during the hunt I was on in the swamp near Lake Ponchartrain.
