It has been way too long since I came to visit. The new layout had me confused but I'm getting used to it.
Not much in the realm of my flowers because of the draught. We kept them all alive but did not have the beautiful blooms all around like we usually do. My full size hybiscus nearly took over once the weather got better. I am having a great time with cutting the tops that have lots of buds. I put them in water in the house and I get at least one bloom a day.
I did manage to save two orchids. And one of them bloomed and has two new stalks coming out!
My two Christmas cactuses are full of buds.
Lowe's had Poinsettias on sale yesterday (Black Friday) for 99cents each. After two big fights with my husband, I finally got what I wanted. I now have 14 very healthy Poinsettias that I am going to work with in my decorating.
We still haven't got the green house and we're realizing we better get it soon.

Did you get your poinsettias because he feels guilty or because you punched his lights out? Inquiring minds want to know. All kidding aside, I can imagine how beautiful your house will look with all those flowers.

It was over the phone because he went to play cards instead.
If you can imagine, I punched his lights out over the phone! Two big huge bruises!

I love pointsettas! Can't have them up here. Contrary to all of those wonderful pictures you see of mountain homes filled with them and a fireplace going...it doesn't work. The fireplace sucks all the moisture out of the air, and since poinsettas are tropical they are not too happy with the circumstances, so all of mine are fake, but I don't have to water them and they always look beautiful. Yes please, definitely post some pictures of your decorations!
