I love plants. It is an honor and a privilege to GREEN NYC one garden at a time. I started gardening as a child in NJ with my father. [it is the garden state!] We used to grow our own vegetables on a 50'x100' plot adjacent to our home. I was always amazed at how planting a tiny seed in the spring could create something as magical as a watermelon or pumpkin. But it was the beauty of the roses growing along the fence, with their razor like thorns, that sparked my interest as a Horticulturist.

I won't bore you with my life story from those innocent times until I rekindled those magical summers working with nature. But there is a story and I made it back to nature.

Currently I attend Brooklyn Botanic Garden for a Certificate in Horticulture. I also attend classes and workshops at the New York Botanical Garden. I am a Master Composter, a Citizen Pruner, and a member of the 6/15 Community Garden in Park Slope. I consult for a Garden Design company in Manhattan and own my own Design and Installation company here in Brooklyn. No job is too small or too big for me.
