Tag: peacocks

so today my husband calls me in the morning and asks me if i wanted 2 peacocks...i'm like i don't know do you? he thought the girls would get a kick out of them...i suppose they would! so after talking about them we decided to go ahead and get them from a lady at one of his stops...we ended up getting a male and a female...they look pretty cool kinda green and bluish in color...don't know a thing about them, but we will learn along the way...here are the pics i promised....

Dizzy45vines	Apr 24, 2008 \| 7:58 AM PST My Uncle had a pair so I am passing this off from when he had his pair.Better get a huge enclosure as they will fly miles away! even up in trees and they can get aggressive and they have the nastiest call you ever heard but good luck they are beautiful birds!!! abbeck	Apr 26, 2008 \| 11:08 AM PST thanks for the tips...we are in the process of making a fenced in area for them...in the pic you can see that they are in a shed well coming off of the doors to that we put up fence so they can come outside and walk around...we have not even heard a peep out of them since we got them this past wednesday...i suppose it is because they are still scared or stressed from the move...
