I'm brand-new at gardening, but I love it! I am drooling over plant pictures on the internet night and day...LOL. I just moved into a new house in December and now that it is spring I am working on getting the yard and garden looking nice. (See if I knew anything about gardening I would have actually started doing this BEFORE spring..but oh well).
I planted a climbing rose bush (Don Juan) in the back against a chain link fence that I am really excited about, too! I planted a few daylilies in the front (but my nursery only had yellow, so I'm hoping to get out and find some more!) and a Lily of the Nile, White Fountain Grass, and a Butterfly Bush.
I want some Pink Muhly Grass, and I want A LOT more flowers!!! I want to find some Shasta Daisy and Echinacea...and probably some type of Yarrow.
I also want an Itea Virginica Little Henry shrub!! I have lots of nursery scouting to do! Wish me luck! :)
