Hi,everyone,so busy these days,miss you.
I'm free tonight,so I'm going to share some photos which were taken last weekend.
Remember my lily? Well, it has some flower heads.I guess they will blossom in half a month.
The Mirabilis jalapa has grown up,with so many flowers. It is so common here, however, when you see it at the first time,you will feel it's beautiful.The color is pure,and the flowers are so cute.What's more,you can see it blossoming only in the night.So it is also called Telosma cordarum Merr.Its seed looks like land mine,so some people call it land mine flower.
The China rose has a beautiful flower today,perhaps it's not as beautiful as in the real world.
There are some Gardenia trees in the community. The flowers sent forth a delicate fragrance.So some people like to take some of them in bottles.It is very easy to reproduce,just use its branch.

I want a gardenia bush so badly! We miss the fragrance! The info that I have come across says they grow in zones 6-10. We are in 7b (according to what I've read)but was told by a nursery person that they don't grow here in NC :( Anyway, You put up lovely pics. Thanks for sharing them!-CG |
