Well I had faith in myself that I would keep this garden alive! Every time it rains in my area, the streets and yards flood, "The worst," so that means one side of my Garden gets flooded often because of the way it sits, not sure how that is, but the other side doesnt flood out. I raked all the leaves from my yard a few months ago, but my neighboors leaves are overflowing into my garden. Don't understand why they wont just get them up, I even raked theirs into big piles for them and they have 4 young healthy kids to get those leaves up so they can stop blowing my way! Weeds are begining to grow and penetrate the weed screen i have down also some new plant, with colored flowers and those long corn silk looking light green, rubbery feeling leaves, (i didnt plant it), but i'll have pictures posted soon. Its begining to be a mess of a Garden. This time of year its ususally to chilly to be in the yard in the evenings after work, and if its a school night ,"You can forget it". + A 2yr old that is morphing right now! The garden keeps flooding out, and I have to wait for the rain water to be absorbed. I need rescue 911 advice. looks like i may have to remove all the mulch, weed sceen, pull the weeds, rescreen and mulch in another month.
Is it possible to remove the mulch, weed screen, from my garden with out affecting the plants and flowers in it, pull up the weeds, rescreen, and then re mulch, re-enclose w brick?
