About UrbanGardner

Raised in GA, the military brought me to VA. I purchased my first home 2 yrs ago, it was a fixer upper cosmetically inside, not the best neighborhood, and everyone didn't manicure their lawn as I did.  The garden was in a neglected state (weeds, beer bottles, broken glass etc....) that’s how I developed a passion for gardening.  It’s something to do for leisure since I don't have much spare time with my busy work , school schedule, and parenting.   im looking forward to spring 08, so that I can get out in the yard, and really put some TLC into my garden.
