Today I worked for 7 hours trimming a chilean guava hedge which is part of an edblie patio garden. Then trimmed the hornbeam hedge enclosing this garden and restaked some of the Leyland cypress which encloses the 4 acre property.
This property is eventually going to be filled with different garden rooms at present it just has a big lawn vista edged with flower boarders, the edible patio garden and the gardens around the house.
The Leyland hedge was only planted last May and all the other gardens in Oct/Nov & Dec.
I love working in this garden seeing it start as a bare canvas and develop into an amazing master piece.
I will ask permission if I can post some pictures of this garden for you all to see.

We only gotr 5mm of rain yesterday, but it was better than none! I spended 2 1/2 hours in one clients garden which hasn't been weeded for a very long time so it was great discovering lost plants for her! Then off to mulch another clients garden. My girlfriends daughter turned 1 so I dropped off and spread some mulch in her play area for her birthday present. Today I've been working in my garden digging in some railway sleepers along a new gravvel path we have put in.

Its raining! Yippee! We haven't had rain since before Christmas and then it wasn't much. The countryside is very brown and the farmers have no grass. I am hand watering my garden everyday which is nice as it give me time to deadhead & weed as I dont get much time in my own garden as I'm always in everyone else's.
