About TalbotWard
I am a 27 year-old organic home gardener. My husband (33) and I started our first organic/heirloom vegetable garden 3 years ago and have expanded our interests since. We have created a wildlife area in one of our yards where we incorporated native species and recycled plants and hardscape. We love gardening and are looking to break from more traditional plantings. To break from traditional and to hopefully express our quirky, free-spirited side we will try to plant in 5 gallon buckets, tires and other recycled containers. This season we are looking forward to trying new species such as dinosaur and bird's nest gourds, garlic, as well as creating a healing garden full of medicinals. We plan on using the dinosaur gourds as bats for our annual tomato fight and games (see photo) :)
