About SpringChicken

I am a work at home mom of 4. I let my kids help me in all aspects of my gardening. They love to see the benefits of our hard work. I am still fairly new at gardening. My mother has a natural green thumb and I am learning a lot from her. My first houseplant many years ago when I first got married was a pencil cactus and I killed it! Betcha didn't know you could kill a cactus! Since then I have come a long way! I even give my sis-in-law advice now on her houseplants. How's that for progress?! Anyways, I joined this site to make relationships with people who share my passion for gardening and to hopefully gain a lot of knowledge from other's experience and wisdom. Hope to make a lot of friends here.
