About ShawnH
My husband and I have been gardening for several years, though I've taken over most of the work. I love flowers and veggies equally, and nothing gives me as much pleasure as seeing and tasting the results of my labor. I'm fortunate to live in a state where the growing season is so long, as it provides enough chores to keep me busy and interested. I hate the middle of winter because there's not much to do in the garden. My favorite plants to grow are lilies and roses, and they get lots of attention from me. They're my babies.
