About Sandykinz
Hi I am a 47 year old mother of two awesome children aged 10 and 12 from Palmerston North New Zealand.
I work part time (School hours) and am looking to create a garden. We have just moved into a new home with a 2,000m2 section to develop. My partner Bryce is quite a gardener but I am a real novice so any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
We have a wonderful backdrop to look out on and enjoy at the back of our home - Large trees (Pine trees I think) and a reserve planted by the City Council with all sorts of different trees.
I love to grow flowering colorful plants, nice dainty pretty ones like pansy's and daffodils. We are going to try our hand at growing veggies as well now that we have the room to do so. I have 1 tomato plant and some rhubarb so far.
