About SOMETHINGCATCHY

Hi my name is Kat- hy.  We bought our house 4 yrs ago in April, the property had the start of a good size flower garden  and my husband pointed to it and said that's yours.  I said thanks but no thanks.  He reminded by May/June that it needed weeding, I reminded him it was  not mine.  He tried to get a handle on the weeds, which were ponytail weeds and by ripping them out, he sent the ends flying into the soil which created more.  Soon we had the most awesome vibrant green ponytail weed garden you ever did see so...........with shovel in hand, I set out to overcome the pesty ponytail weed.  Digging down 4 feet deep to get to the roots , moving plants from one side of garden to the other, by fall I had conquered the pesty weed. This left me with a big muddy pile of dirt and soon I was purchasing more perenials, moving bushes about, tree's, rock and  mulching to beat the band. So if anyone is having a problem with ponytail weed, I'm your source. (You can buy this seed to plant, go figure, so be careful, you don't want it!)   Now I am hooked, I can not get enough of perenial gardening. Thus the name...SomethingKatchy
