Hi, my name's Ryan. I am 16 years old and a Sophomore in High school. I love to grow things, mostly trees. I live in Virginia. My favorite plants to grow are the Redwoods. I have multiple Coast Redwood, Dawn Redwood and Giant Sequoia seedlings in my greenhouse I, by myself, built. Please don't judge my gardening because I am only 15, I have a lot of experience growing plants. I am now attempting to grow Pine trees. I do have a job at my local vet. I believe we can change the planet if everyone planted just one seed. Help me in saving the environment.

Hey Ryan and welcome. Not only can you learn lots from GG members.....you can teach us! Most of us are into flowers and veggies so when we have a question on trees we can go to Ryan!!! :) Hilda

So many times we look at the young people of today and are maybe a little afraid...do they care? are they aware? Young folks like you make us realize that maybe we should reserve judgment. Welcome aboard and if you know anything about dogwoods, drop me a line! LOL

Welcome Ryan! We surely won't judge you about gardening because of your age...there are many different ages and levels of gardening expertise here. I for one, am at the bottom--I have been gardening for years, but still I am not a very good gardener--I really enjoy it and I am still learning--just the last couple of years learned about compost, and still have yet to make any-that's one of my goals for the future.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the site, and again, welcome!
