Thanks to yardgranny6 I read tons about the care of the Plumeria tree. : )
I was planning on growing it in a pot & leaving it outside in a dry spot during winter time. Instructions are: don't water when leaves fall off...what else can I do but plant it in a pot?
Well that plan would not work 'cause I read it needs to be moved indoors. The last week of October I'm suppose to either take it out of the dirt, shake the excess dirt off the root then put it into the garage OR just move the whole pot in the garage. OK, I say to myself, got it!
Then I start thinking (i do that sometimes : ), what do I do when the tree becomes 10-15 feet tall!? No way I'm shaking the excess dirt off those roots!
So I decide to come back here to ask questions. I think Kubudaun read my mind! Before I posted my question at the forum Kubudaun sent me a message telling me I should plant it in the ground, in a sunny area. Oh boy did that give me hope. Thanks Kubudaun. Then I looked @ all of Sunny's Plumerias, looks to me they are doing well planted in the ground...just beautiful! Plus, I've seen many others planted in the ground. So I'll try it too. : )
PS. off topic: I uploaded a picture of a Cocktail Tree but made a mistake & called it my apple tree. Correction is made now. : )
