well still feeling a little under the weather,but went out and water,and planted my kumquat tree..i hope it makes it. the leaves are a little yellow.gave it food so hope that helps..im posting a pic so take a look tell me what u think,if anyone know why its leaves are yellow let me know. Some times to much water will make the leaves yellow . The pictures look good. You have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell |

That is a beautiful kumquat. We love to eat those. What zone are you in? Hubby's family is from Louisiana so we get to fresh ones there in the winter. |

Hey Mountaingirl! Kumquat trees are evergreen, and in the spring old leaves will turn yellow and fall off, and new ones come out. Without knowing a whole story, like Bill said, could be too much water, not enough water, root bound or in need of fertilizer. |
