Hi everyone..It's been awhile.  I had been busy trying to do gardening when I got a blood clot in my leg, ended up in hospital for a week, then I couldn't sit at computer for almost 3 more weeks. Now I'm trying to finish getting my flowers in, and everybody else's to.( Not really, just my mother in law and my sister ) Lost some Morning glories and Moon flowers while I was laid up( saved 6 Moonflowers and 4 Morning glories) I just planted some right in the ground. The rest of the seedlings I started are doing good. And I'm catching up,Woo Hoo. Just have to get my Hollyhocks in. I was going to do that today, but of course it's raining. SOOOO here I am. I loaded 20 pictures, and will load more one of these days, and boy do I have a lot of them. I'll also try to list all the flowers I started one of these days..LOL. I would put a picture on this post if I could figure out how to do it.

I have been getting on here to read blogs and comment when I'm not to busy or tired.

I hope everyone is doing good!!! I have to go now, My other half has decided we are going somewhere..Wonder if I can talk him into going to a garden center....I still have 3 empty pots! OH MY!!! hehehehe. Only year 2 of growing flowers and I'm hooked so bad that I plant for others if they let me. LOL

I haven't been on for awhile, so I thought I would check in.. I hope everyone is doing great, it's going ok here. I've been ice fishing when the weather allowed. My face looks like a tomato ( sunburn in 49 degree weather ) which made me want to start planting. SOOOO be prepaired for a lot of questions. hehehe. I'll be posting one today about my Tulips.

My stepson got married to his wife again,( Court house in Oct. 2008 before he went to Afghanistan, Church wedding on Feb 13th 2010 ) It was vey nice... OH I'm also going to be a grandma again... Stepsons first Due in Nov.

I've been taking lots of pictures of anything and everything.... I'll post a few today.

 Things are going to start getting busy around here.( unless we get some crappy weather ) I have so many ideas for my little gardens.

I also have two friends that joined Garden Guides and would like to welcome them.... MoonGlow and Meb3199..

For awhile anyway.. I was very busy with Christmas, baking, candy making and well just everything I guess. Then my back hip and knee went out all at the same time, I was laid up for awhile and couldn't sit at puter.GRRR I'm feeling much better, but still having some problems. But I will try to check in now and then.

I hope everyone had a really Awesome Christmas and New Year.

Mother-in-law came for Christmas and we went to My great niece's Christmas day. It was very nice, with Ham, Turkey all the fixings and lots of goodies..

We played a game called Apples to Apples..LOL What fun.(I want that game!LOL) The Weather was getting crappy and we had to go home,

It is snowing AGAIN, I'm watching the birds, they seem to be having fun.LOL But I'm pretty sure they are just stocking up on food. I have more pictures. Go figure,( I take that camera every place I go. Even to the bathroom in case I see something out the window on the way. hehehe.

 I can't wait til spring and summer Gardening time. And my other birds. I will try to figure out how to post my photo bucket website so you can see my pictures, if your interested. Some are pretty good if I do say so myself.. If I could afford it I would get a better camera. The one I have is wonderful and I love it, But I want Really good..LOL

Did you miss me? LOL. I missed you! I have been busy getting ready for the holidays, taking advantage of the nice weather,( I'm sure we are going to have a doozer winter when it gets here) taking pictures of birds and scenery and learning about birds. I got to tell you. if I could. I would become a professional Photographer.

I do come on here to read blogs and look at pics. I just don't always comment, Come SPRING you will probably get tired of me and my questions. hehehehe

Today I am going to my sisters to get things ready for Turkey day. I hope you all are having a great November and nice weather like I am. If your weather is crappy i'm sorry. If it's nice enjoy it while you can.LOL

Halloween is tomorrow and makes me wish I was a kid again!!  I'm a kid at heart. Does that count? Maybe they will think i'm a big kid dressed like an old lady.hehehe. I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up!!!

It's very windy here today and I'm pretty sure the weather will be crappy tomorrow, it always seems to be yucky weather on halloween. I don't get more then 5 kids for halloween, but I still got candy and set up a few pumpkins and ghost lights for them. Ok I set them up for myself too. I wish kids could have the fun trick or treating all over the neighborhood like we had as kids. It is nice that they have places to go to have fun now, but it just doesn't seem the same as going door to door and getting scared out of your little witch shoes when the wolfman jumps out at you.

I'm going to post my halloween pictures in landscape pictures forum. Enjoy and have a really fun halloween. Carol.

Good Wednesday morning everyone! All week I have been trying to write on my blog. In fact I was getting quit mad, I never had this problem before.. Well today I decided to check compatibility settings clicked on it and what do you know, IT WORKED. I never used it before because it says it's designed for older browsers and my computer is only a few monthe old. Now I'm going to see if it will work for sending pms and deleting old pms.Wish me luck.

On another happy note... I have been painting Pumpkins for the last few days, Cannot find my char, pencils so am having to do them free hand.( What a pain that can be I only repainted one about a DOZEN times LOL ) My deck and yard have all been cleaned up, And it looks very very sad, with no flowers or veggies. The weather here is 45 degrees and raining.( Looks like i'll be staying indoors today ) I've been taking pictures like crazy.( 57 pics. the other day on my walk.) I'll post a few when I get the chance.

I really hope everyone is doing great and has a wonderfull October.. I'll be looking around to see some pretty fall color pictures and Pumokins( As my nephew spelled it.) BIG hugs and a good day to everyone.. Carol

I'm not really looking forward to cleaning up the yard,( only because it's cold out there..) But it's that time. I really hate waste, But i don't know what to do with the rest of my tomato's, I'll pick them and see if anyone wants green tomato's. With the strange weather we had this year i still have a lot... We did get at least 30 quarts of salsa. and we will just can the 30 or so we have in the mudroom. We went to Klingers farm market Tue. and got vegs for sweet pickled vegs( Cauliflower,carrots celery and onions) Yummy!! I hope everyone is doing good and has a great day. I will be busy!!! But I will try to get on here when i take a break.. That should be any minute now. HE hehehehe. Morningglories has left the room!!!!

 Did everyone think I forgot about them? NOT!!! You don't forget nice people....Well I got a few pics up.(I added them to Sept pics) And I got my new camera, When I have time i'll figure out how to do pic to puter. I have been picking at least 5 to 10 tomato's everyday now. I won't let Desi help me as the poor Kid has been breaking out in hives everyday. I feel soooo bad for her. I know how bad they can be, and getting into garden wouldn't be helping it any. Anyhoo I told Desi I would put a pic of the field corn she put in pots( She got them out of a farmers field in early spring) I wish I had gotten a pic of then when she first planted them. Well I have to go make a pie. It's raining today so maybe I'll be able to get back on here later. Have a great day all day. Carol. P.S. Also got a pretty good pic of the fog. Haven't been able to write anything for a few days  because i've been busy doing other things...LIKE TAKING STEMS OFF MULBERRIES, What a pain. I'm purple to my wrists( Lemon juice works real good for that sometimes) Anyhoo I'm going to put some pics. up or at least i'm going to try.( been having some problems with Pics, but i'll fix it..If I can't fix it i'll kill it!!!)

Hey ev1. I got the stuff for my tomatos ( Fast acting lime and yeald booster for the blossom end rot) I'll let you know if it works. The weather is still strange, real hot and humid for a few days Now it's going to cool down again.Go figure!!! I think the weather has a lot to do with the ber. Hope I can stop it. we have a lot of tomatos, but I don't want to lose any more or I'll be buying them to can.

My flowers are doing just great, I can't bring myself to cut back my patunias, they are just soooo pretty the way they hang. Hope everyone is having as good a time as I am with my garden this year. If next year is this good I'll be a happy camper.
