I think that tropical wave we had has officially heralded the rainy season here. June begins the hurricane season which ends in November.
I haven't been in the garden for a few days now. I've just been observing fro the window.
The 'red pear' tomato seedlings on the patio really need planting out now, so....
Our middle son and myself are taking a trip to the DIY store and the garden centre tomorrow, before he begins his internship for the summer. He's great for lifting large objects! I have to buy the reinforcement steel to make my cages. Plus a few other things. I need to buy some food for my hungry pumpkin plant, I have the granules but I think I need something soluble, granules tend to burn if I'm not careful, and my pumpkin is sooo pretty I would hate to spoil the look.
I'm thinking to move my flower plants into the gravel paths in the back. Right now they're all on the patio. I think they need more sun, not too much though!
I'm also gathering ideas for an arbor type structure between the pathway, not sure if to use wood or metal. I'll hunt around tomorrow. Something contemporary, I think.
