Well I went plant shoping this weekend. I got some plants for the pond. It looks pretty good. Went and picked up mom , she is wanting a water feature now lol. I guess I will have to see what I can do.The veggie garden is doing pretty good can't wait to eat some fresh veggies. We have some little tomatoes. I will post what pic I have of the pond. hope everyone is doing good happy gardening

well everyone take a look and tell me what you think. I think it turned out pretty good, now we just have to wait for the plants to come up. Oh I laughed so hard when we got threw that night it was to dark for me to take a pic. so when i got up the next morning I went to take the pic. the pond was pink and I mean pink pink it was so funny, the rain had made the dye come off the mulch  and it turned the water pink .I am so glad we didn't have fish in it yet lol. If I can get the pic. off my cell phone I will post it. But as you can see it is ok now.

Well it has rained all weekend. But that didn't stop us we went and gathered rock for the new pond,and got mulch. We were both dripping wet and cold. But we got the rock in and the mulch down. I will take pic tomorrow. Still need to get the plants in the ground. We are pretty happy with it so far . I sure hope everyone else had a good weekend.

Oh the weather was so pretty this weekend , we got started on the new pond so far so good. Can't wait to get it finished. But it is going to have to wait,  had a brake line brake on my truck today thank god I was at my sisters house instead of on the interstate doing 70 trying to stop, oh that would of been so bad. Any other day I would of been. Then I got home and was sitting on the porch in the moon light and I seen a spider it was on me some where I seen it start up it web oooo they give me the hebe geebees, so I went it the house and got a flash light to see it better not sure but I think it was a black widow. my what a day

Well I just don;t know what to think about this. Had a little bird just drop dead today. At first  I thought he was playing in the dust off the gravel so i walk closer, oh it was so sad he open his little eye and looked at me, he was on his back he fliped over pulled his wings up close to his body closed his eyes and just died. So sad. It has really botherd me all day, I have never seen anything like that before. I was talking to my cousin on the phone and he said you know you live in Richmond ( the army depot is here )

Well I got the rest of the mulch down today, 12 scoops in all wow, I just don't remember getting that much last year. Now I just need to get the bulbs and the flowers in the ground, my tomatoe plants don't look so good not sure what is going on with them. The Orioles and the Martins are back. Going to try to get the bulbs in the ground tomorrow, it's not going to be as warm tomorrow but  i hope I can get it done. It sure is nice to see all the birds back I sure did miss them. I hope everyone is doing well.

Well the weather has been nice for a change. So i got some mulching done.  Got 8 scoops so far looks like i will need at least 5 more. I got the red this time , looks very nice really makes the flowers stand out. It seems to have a lot of nails in it though. Not sure what is up with that.  I hope i will be able to see the spiders better now lol, I always get bit . Scared to death of them.  Oh so sad found a finch in the building dead, he must have went in when the door was open. Looks like i will have to replace my dog wood it didn't make it this year. But i will keep trying. I am told they are not is too grow.

Well i did it I trimed the rose bushes, I am sure i shouldn't have now. The temp. is supposed to be 32 tonight. Hope they will be ok. My husband got a lot of wood choped today,He says we are going to have a fire in the pit this weekend. Hope it worms back up. lol we are rushing the weather,but it has been so cold for so long it seems like. Haven't spoted the Orioles yet, they should be back soon. The fintches are starting to get there color back a little.

I got 4 New Guinea Impatiens. I just love the leaves the flowers are pink and white. I will post a pic. I just love sharing.

Well I just couldn't  help myself today just had to stop at a green house. Wanted some of everything. I controled myself only got 4 plants. lol

Well I got my tomatoes in bigger pots now. hmmm not sure what i was thinking I have 189 plants. Looks like I will have plenty to share this year. Flowers are comming alone very well too.  It is supposed to be in the 70's tue. & wed. to bad i have to work. would love to play in the yard.
