The first Fall after we moved into our home we planted a handful of tulip bulbs. Faithfully every spring these red tulips have been making us smile as we look out the living room window.

bsmitch	Apr 26, 2008 | 7:17 AM PST It is nice to have tulips repeat on their own, but it is better to dig the bulbs after the tops wither in mid summer, store them and replant in the fall with new compost and bone meal added.
