Now what do I do. I wanted to get a Vine section going on here as I love vines because as a Disabled person and also having a mentally challenged daughter with joint problems and learning problems they are just so darn easy to grow. You can fit them anywhere, in the little corner of the yard where nothiing grows. Or you can put them in a container of anything buckets, barrels, baskets, and even old coffee cans!! I have alot of Morning glories I start on my chain link fencing, I have Wisteria on a huge Pergola my husband built just for me and you can even sit under it.
I have Perennial vines, annual vines, tropical vines, hard to find vines and one day I will be the Climbing Milkweed Queen of Indiana there thats my goal in life LOL. Now if you love vines of any kind just let me know I guess.
This is new for me too!

i just ordered a wisteria tree. I haven't decided if i want to put it on an trellis or keep it in tree form. We shall see! It's going to be small but i can't wait for it to get here! |

I have passion flowers and clematis, but I'll put in a vine just for you. I don't know what variety but it will be special and I'll photograph it in bloom and I'll post it in a blog for you. I promise. You have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell |

Deidre I think the Wisteria should be kept in tree form those are better for the yard as you can reach and keep them under control easier. Do not plant them close to the house as they can go under foundations!! I love Wisteria and mine is 300 feet from the house but within eyes notice!! Carol |

Hi Bill, Nice to hear from you oh yes plant a vine for me! I have so many I am going to try this year Cobaea's, Pipevines, Passion flowers first time on these. I usually go for Perennials but this year Me and Casey my daughter are testing the waters! Thanks Carol |

Well today is March 12, 2008, my hands are so swollen, my joints ache, but I am waiting impatiently for spring. Ths snow is almost gone. I can see the tops of Daffodil's so that is always a good sign spring is on its way. My daughter Casey is in pain from Pluerisy in her vein above her heart and were waiting for a phone call from her doctor. My oldest girl just had kidney surgery again but this time on both kidneys. She will be home this afternoon and I will go see her then, Her surgery took 2 hours so her husband said Ma just stay home I will call ya when we go to the house so that should be around 2 in the afternoon. I started some really hard to find vine seeds a few days ago and by reading tips and hints I have 2 out of the 3 seeds germinating yippee!!! Got my Clitoria single blue's out of a tray of seeds of 9 got 3 up so far so that is good start. I have them in my bathroom its like a mini greenhouse LOL Nobody minds so there you go.. talk again soon Carol |
