Well my good friends Tom and Sheila are coming to pick me and my daughter up tonight and then taking us to a private club that is country isn't that like so cool. They say they need some good singers they just don't have that many that come to the karaoke there and you have to be a member or be sponsered and Tom is, so there you go and my best friends Dave & Jessica are coming too we will meet at the door at 8PM. We have known the KJ guy that is doing it for many years and treats us like the Little Karaoke Queenies we are well except for Tom and Dave of course LOL
I just found out my brothers wife died yesterday from battling cancer funeral arrangements are pending and that I am losing some of my eye sight when the bad news comes it always comes in 5's at my house. so just waiting for the other 3 to hit. I need some joy and singing as it does help my depression. And I will be with friends that love me and who I love too so I have to be uplifting and not make it all about whoa with me tonight..
I have some vines coming up and trellising so that is a good sign I think frost times are over and I can now put the potting vines and plants outside and where me and Casey planted some mixed garden seeds those are seedling up and also my clematis' I planted 3 years ago look like they might be blooming this year too!! I need to mow all my yards and especially the backyard. But its been raining and I can't. The Mallard ducks are still coming to the bird feeder and hanging around and also Mrs Robin is still nesting diligently .
Well talk to you all later I am going out!

Well today was "D" Day for me. Yep DENTIST DAY owhhhhhh! Although they are so
good to me there . I still have way too much pain. I get that from the wonderful
Fibromyalgia and Osteo-arthritis and the Nerve Pain in my hands and feet..
Okay they put me in the chair and I told them I wanted my front tooth the one on the
left that sits right next to your front ones crowned as it will break anytime soon.
And good thing I went in there was a cavity starting behind it so got 2 birds in
one stone as they say!! Only cost me $50 dollars down and $50 dollars a month
the out of pocket cost after insurance was $1195 dollars that did not include my
wonderful gas, and shot that was $64 bucks and the pain is FREE!! As soon as my lip
gets (un numbed) is that a word ? Then I will check my singing out to make
sure it didn't change my voice it shouldn't !! I won't get the permanant crown
one until 3 weeks from now on May 20th. That will be porcelain.. They always
do a good job for me. Well I have had my teeth longer then my Dad did he lost
all his when he was 33 and had to get dentures. Me I am only missing 2 back upper
molars in the top due to a dental snafu. This dentist years ago pulled out my widsom tooth that
had exploded and when he pulled it he killed my tooth next to it and and the one next that one also
it turned into my jaw so had to end up having 2 teeth taken out because of his stupidity.
Anywho I am better now that the gas is wearing off . It is raining cats and dogs here and it is
COLD!! Might even get some flurries and most definitely Frost but it did rain that will protect
the fruit trees. I brought everything back inside for now that I am growing so hopefully this
weather will improve and so will my mouth LOL Have a good one!!

Well Nothing yet I haven't planted nothing for Mother Nature!! As I have not been outside
yet had to have my coffee get my shots and get dressed whew sometimes that is a chore
in itself. But because it will be raining here in Indiana tonight. Me and Casey Lynn
are planting that butterfly garden today no ifs ands or butts well maybe our butts will
be adraggin later on but it will get done today!! But we wanted to wait until it rains so the
seeds are germinated quickly.. Body update I tore my biceps muscles pushing a wheel
barrow on sunday up to the house about 300 feet from the house and yes it had some
stuff in it but I thought Heck I can do this but obviously my butt is old and moldy and cannot
do this stuff anymore!!! Okay I learned won't do that anymore!!
This week grandson and son in law will come out and cut down the elm trees that are in my
vine row fencing I can't dig them anymore so they will come and do that for me!! Then we can
get to planting more vine seeds where they are suppose to be!!
talk to everybody later !

I got up groggily and went to the kitchen sink to get
coffee water for the pot and I gazed out to the feeder
and saw what I thought at first were some mighty big
Birds Hahaha! They were Mallard ducks a pair and they
were sitting right in the middle under the feeder with
all the birds on the ground just eating away!!
I made my coffee went to get my camera and they were gone
they came back later on and went swimming in our above ground pool.
This happens every year but its always just 1 pair only! One of these
days I will get me a picture!

Too much Rain to be going outside to plant. So were just hanging out inside!!
My Grandson TJ put my mailbox back in the ground as it was hit and replaced
a couple of months ago but it kept falling over so they fixed that. Then my DH
and SIL still working on a leak under the new kitchen sink plumbing they put
in last weekend almost there!! Went down stairs and much to my surprise we
have growth of the Cobaea Alba and the Cobaea purple vine seeds we planted
last month. we have 4 bamboo poles in each pot for now until we can put them
outside on a fence. Got my Moonflowers coming up they just popped up from seeds.
I have tried to grow these before by just planting directly outside never does anything but
this time we shall try a different approach and see if we can get these puppies to
vine and bloom and set seeds!! I think with my short growing season I just need to
start them earlier and so I did this year.. We also got the Feathered Morning glories
in pots finally so were excited about those and the rest of the MG's we can just direct
plant. Can't wait to see these and the Passionflowers we potted up flower this year and I will
be taking alot of pictures so watch for them!!
It is gloomy and rainy here again today 3rd day in a row but I am taking Casey to her Community
Prom Night for Special People and then when were done there we will go out to Karaoke
with some dear friends Casey is really good!! Plus she has fun and they all just love her any
where she goes to karaoke.
Hugs and Blessings and how does your garden grow!

Hey All,
It's getting ready to rain!! Casey and Me just got our big old bag of Butterfly and Cut Garden seeds ready well at least they are all together in a huge bag about 3 pounds of seeds!! This will be one heck of the best Butterfly and Bee's and Cut Gardens ever assembled in recent years. And I know it will be so colorful and smell so good I can see it in my minds eye but I will take pictures you can bet on it. Casey is so excited she will be making a Red garden,
I will be making a moonlight garden and between us we will have a spectacular garden I can hear the buzzing and the sipping of nectar as we speak!! I think how I will plant this huge undertaking for the Butterfly Gardens is to mix the seeds into some wet dirt and then while they are still pliable then throw them as far as we can into the areas we want for the butterfly garden and cut gardens!! Hey thats how Lady Bird Johnson used to do it so why can't Carol and Casey right!!
We have our Vine Projects too we are working on these will be so gorgeous we have Passionflowers and Hyacinth Bean vines, and Morning glories and we could go and on but I won't. Just very excited about it.
We wanted to thank everybody for sending us seeds this year without you and you we could not have had as many seeds to make these gardens. We have other projects as well like the Logan Center Community we donate seeds too and we still had a bunch of seeds left over for our gardens..
Well off we go to get our Dirt Balls ready talk to you all later!
hugs and blessings

Well had to get go and get my new handicap placard today as mine had expired!!
Yep when I was down with the flu and pneumonia my card expired so had to go to the
BMV and set in line for 40 minutes but finally got my new one and it was FREE get out of
here!! That was costing me $5.00 bucks before so it was a nice surprise!!. Then had to go to
Walmart and get a big bag of dirt so I can plant all these Morning glories, wanted to get them
planted outside but its getting ready to rain!! Heck it will be raining all week and we potted up
and got all the Passionflowers planted!! the Incarnata on the fence and my others I have in tagged
pots so we shall see what happens with all those!! Thanks to everyone who sent me seeds we
should have a wonderful crop of Passions this year!! Casey is busily potting and sorting her seeds
and insisting we get the Hummingbird feeders out and filled right now!! Don't know when they are
coming I always thought it was May? Now I have to go get a new back tire and a front tire for my
Lawn tractor and also batteries for that and for the rototiller. Casey saw a hand auger and wants that
she said that will keep us from bending over all the time and hurting our backs and she is soooo right!!
Also have to get out the 2 main water hoses and hooked up but have to change the faucet handle
as it is broken so will do that tomorrow between raindrops and I have to burn a pile of wood and brush in the middle
of the backyard wanted to do that first but got side tracked. Hey I am seeing blue birds and finches and doves
and all those wonderful creatures at the feeder.. Spring is here but it is still on the cool side for me.
Happy Gardening!

Yeah Saturday is here, and although I had many plans non are materializing!!
Had to get my emails done only had 443 had to answer a bunch of questions. then had to get pots ready.
sure does take up a day!!!
I wanted to get some seeds in the ground as it is 62 degrees right now and it is suppose to rain all next week so I needed to get this stuff done. Got to get my MG's planted too. some of the more Japanese varieties need to be started now so they can bloom and set seed in time before Octobers killer frost. I got a unknown kind in a trade and I grew it but it did not have time to set seed properly and I had to bring it inside before it was done naturally and of course that is never a good thing so this year I am ready!!
Plus I am on antibiotics for Pneumonia which makes me feel just all wonderful but I know at the end of the tunnel is a garden light!! or maybe I just left the backyard light on again!!
hugs to all

Today is Friday and I am feeling alot better!! Just have a slight cough from sinus yuck you didn't need that much info I'm sure LOL but being as how I am a singer it is important LOL I need to practice my songs I am singing tonight usually 3 or 4 will get me through doing some country swing and also some bluegrass country yes I can twang with the best of them. We have to go the American Legion early as I have some older friends who don't stay for the karaoke so I go in early just to talk with them. Older people have so much to offer and are so overlooked. I love to sing the old songs for them, I do a pretty mean Carole King One Fine Day!!!
I went downstairs and checked my potted up plants and the C.Alba has some growth starting but the c.purple is still not showing any signs hope they start showing some life here soon... I got some adlumia fungosa seed aka fumitory vine seeds thank you so much you know who you are but it will take 2 years before I see any action out of that beautiful vine.. but I have patience when it comes to vines and plants just not with my every day life.
It rained last night, then snowed, then drizzled then snowed again we still have snow on the ground right now so I couldn't go out yesterday to plant my fumitory seeds around the base of my maple tree in the backyard!! but I will on saturday as they need cold to germinate and yep I can do that here in Indiana..I have crocus up and blooming and the daffodils are showing their little green heads!! Not long now, Spring will pop fast up here.
Next saturday we are doing the nasty!!! Yup Changing the kitchen sink completely!! had you going didn't I hehehe! it needs to be done NOW so will get the son in law and grandson and my husband and let'em go to town on it. has to be completely ripped out and replumbed.. so wish us luck!!
talk later got to go sing tonight!
hugs

I got up this morning feeling blahhh! Joints hurting, and needed my fix of Coffee. So I went to the kitchen sink to get water and what do you think I saw, hopping around on the ground ?? Nope not a bunny rabbit!! I saw Two Robins just acting like it was spring!! My day got better when I saw that, cause it means
Robins =s - Spring here in Indiana. So I wanted to tell the world of my discovery but I could not. I was grounded. NO INTERNET.
I could not connect to the internet with AOL or DSL. So what canya do besides call those Techy people.. were pretty computer efficient here in our house. I have helped to rebuild and refurbish computers we actually built the one I use right now but we were stuck!!! So got out the phone bill looked up Internet services and they helped us to get connected to our server but we only use that for my husbands computer game. But the answer was that Internet Explorer had crashed. We had to go through Bio's and connection settings and it took along time to get that back. So now we had to get AOL as our direct homepage back. I use that for everything and it would not connect at all. So with AOL Techy's after 4 and 1/2 hours we are finally back in the saddle again and posting and trading and emailing.. That just added to my frustration of having the flu and also my daughter has it too. I am feeling better today but she is still feeling a bit rough around the gills but hopefully she will feel better tomorrow...maybe the Robins will come back?
Also a much added surprise!! a pure Bluebird at my feeder!! I know!!! I am so excited the first one I have ever seen in my life!! Maybe it will come back? Hope so!!!
Got some seedlings coming up so the day was not all bad!!
hugs and blessings to all

Hey Everybody don't you just love that feeling ? Your hands in the dirt and planting your most
desired seed that you traded for or bought!! Well my goal was to grow Clitoria's this year and
I will be doing just that. Thanks to folks on here and other lists and also I had to pay actual
big bucks for some seeds too.. So I soaked them and me and Casey planted them today had to
buy some bamboo poles 4 in each pot then we tied them off at the top now just waiting for
something good to happen!! Planted some Milkweed seeds the upright kinds the red the yellow
and the mixed kinds a very nice person sent them to me and Casey.. I had been searching for this
vine and found it and then the lady who was sending it to me had to move to another state.. So I can't get
my vine seeds it was for the Adlumia fungosa
Common Name: Allegheny Fleece Vine or Climbing Fumitory or Climbing Bleeding Hearts Vine.
Oh how sad I was when I heard that news today. I posted everywhere so we shall see!!
I saw this in a catalog now I am drooling the Egret Flower-Habenaria radiata
the flowers really look like white birds in flight!!
And the mouse plant - arisarum proboscideum .
So if anyone grows this you know what to do LOL
thanks

Now what do I do. I wanted to get a Vine section going on here as I love vines because as a Disabled person and also having a mentally challenged daughter with joint problems and learning problems they are just so darn easy to grow. You can fit them anywhere, in the little corner of the yard where nothiing grows. Or you can put them in a container of anything buckets, barrels, baskets, and even old coffee cans!! I have alot of Morning glories I start on my chain link fencing, I have Wisteria on a huge Pergola my husband built just for me and you can even sit under it.
I have Perennial vines, annual vines, tropical vines, hard to find vines and one day I will be the Climbing Milkweed Queen of Indiana there thats my goal in life LOL. Now if you love vines of any kind just let me know I guess.
This is new for me too!
hugs and blessings in your gardens!

Tag: What I am doing right now?
I just posted a Wanted Garden to Garden seed friends in my local
Freecycle and I didn't think I would get anyone to even look at it
and I have gotten 4 replies in 2 days that is just wonderful. All
local people within phone call or email contact that is so cool LOL
Sorting seeds and germinating some and using Knock out for Gnats
always happens every year I know they are in there hiding in the soil
that I have to use to pot up the seeds. So when I saw them last week
I ordered it and the stuff just got here. Did all the pots and seedlings so
now am soil gnat free again LOL If and when I have time I cook my
soil that gets rid of everything but also the nutrients as well. This other
stuff works really well and fast...Well it is cold but I have dreams in color
of things that will be growing at my place this year!!!

Hello
I am a disabled lady but that doesn't keep me down! My joints gave up on me years ago
but I love to garden and grow things here in Indiana!! I love Tropical Vines and plants but
mostly the vines as they are easy to pot up and trellis...
Been a seed trader for many years and when I say email me
its just so I know that we can set up a trade or get information about each other.
I have a handicapped adult daughter who loves to garden her name is Casey!!
I love the friends that I have made seed trading and the information on growing things I never
thought I could.. I hope you have a good trading experience with me!
