Well my garden definitely didn't advance as fast as I thought. But I had a little money so I bought 2 hydrangea plant for the front yard to go in the bed with my witch hazel tree. I'm going to mulch my tulip bed because nothing else happened.
I did finally plant some flowers in that tiered pot for july the 4th (again none of the seeds I bought for that sprouted) and I'll take a picture next week. I had so many left overs so I planted them along my walk way. I hope they will grow and fill the gaps. I forgot though that I planted them in area that I call "the rice field" because when it rains, the rain gathers there.Oh well, we will see how they do.
I also bought a tomato plant.

I am not giving up hope that I'll have the garden that I imagined! I'm trekking along!

I know your feeling, I never did get my veggie garden planted, it always rained just enough to keep me from working up the soil. I just planted tomatoes, a pepper, and some radishes around here and there. I am disappointed with my plants, so many of them died, or didn't even sprout to begin with, I think it was due to the crazy weather we've had this year. We have already received as much rain this year as we usually get for the whole year. |

True gardeners only see the successes. Some plants die, some seeds run off in the night, never to be seen again. We just keep dreaming of that perfect garden and do it all over again. You have a great day and be happy gardening. Bill Mitchell |

I know the feeling, but aren't we thrilled to death when something does bloom or produce? It's what makes us such optimists. |
