Favorite Aspect of Gardening: Meeting God there in the morning.
If I'm not in my garden, I can usually be found: in the kitchen, on the computer, quilting, riding bikes or walking with my husband.
Occupation: After working outside the home for 35 years I now am working at my favorite jobs: Wife, grandma & homemaker

About Deepsouth
I've lived in the Chicago area all my life...49 years and now reside in southwest Florida. I had an extensive garden up north. It consisted of mostly perennials with scattered annuals and a small vegetable & herb garden. Now I need to start from scratch in my new home. I have everything to learn about southern gardening. I welcome any advice!
