Well, first of all this has to be the Picture of the Year - right in my backyard!
I hope Missy Bunny is not going to be a problem for my gardens this year :::sigh:::
Now check this out - we were on our walk today and saw this Beaver work ... it is totally amazing how they can chew down trees to dam up a stream....I was in total awe!
Wow ... huh?!?!?

And even more amazing is that they know just which way to gnaw in order to get the tree just where they want it. I think you have your work cut out for you between the bunnies appetite and the beavers taking down the trees. Nature is a work of art. LB |

I used to see a lot of this at Camp Atterbury, near Edinburgh, Indiana. It is amazing to see this in this modern age of natures destruction. We are lucky there are still rabbits, squirrels, deer, turkey, fox, and a few others living around us here in Kentucky. They are not as plentiful and we need to see that they are protected. I didn't mean that the beavers were destructive, I was pointing to man's destructive progress to the habitat that these creatures need to survive. You have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell |
