Here's Mr. Turtle ........although it was 60ish degrees on Friday it snowed/hailed lightly on Sunday ....

Daffodils are sprouting up .......but 5 hours back up into Illinois there is NO way you see daffs yet

Tons of Cardinals .......... the Illinois State Bird ....

BUT the best picture of all .......... Easter Sunset ......dang, what a shot

Debstr	Mar 25, 2008 \| 6:06 PM PST Thanks you guys :-) Yes, that is off the deck & I took the picture from in the house otherwise they would not have stood still - the cardinals. The sunset I was outside & I DID touch it .. well, ok I pretended :-)
garden98011	Mar 27, 2008 \| 8:59 PM PST Truly amazing photos-the turtle one looks like it could have been taken on the U of W campus-we have a similar looking area there. We have absolutely no birds that colorful, always enjoyed seeing them in Iowa. That sunset-well, we have not experienced that for quite a long time-wow. Thanks for sharing~Andrea
Sherrieflower	Apr 22, 2008 \| 11:05 AM PST I have willow trees that slope down into my pond and the turtles have been out on it but my box turtle has not emerged from hibernation yet. I'll get pix on soon. I;m in IN so we are practically neighbors!
