Our tomatoes look great untill they ripe and then they get a black rotten spot on the bottom. I

have been told that maybe it is some type of fungus....... has anyone had this problem if so

what can I do to prevent this?

bsmitch	Jan 29, 2008 \| 12:56 PM PST You can use rose dust or sulfur powder on them. I heard that mixing corn meal in the soil around the base of the plant will control mildew and fungus. You have a great dat and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell
