It was 109 today. Shawnee,Ok hit the nations record at 113, it's about 40 mi away. The weather girl says we will reach 112 tomorrow. We are on 33 days of triple digets, no rain. We are running soakers hoses around our foundation be cause the ground is cracking so bad, afraid it will cause the bricks to separate. All of my flowers are suffering. Can anyone tell me if i cut them off will the perinials come back next year? I can't seem to water enough.
My assistant is Chickasaw, I keep trying to convince her a rain dance might help.lol Pray for our part of the country to get a nice slow rain for at least one night and one day. Haven't been outside in the yard for days. My bvest to everyone.
This little guy comes to visit every night. He sits on the bottom of the waterfall and lookd into the light. His eyes look like he is looking right at you. Doesn't seem to mind the camera.

Just wanted to let everyone know. My son seen his onocolist last week and he doen't have to have chemo. Everyone's prayers sure did the trick. My daughter-in-law (his wife) had her reconstruction surgery from the breast cancer and it went well . Thanks again to all of you for all of the support. Bobbie
I have to say that I really enjoy my flower gardens but my pond is my pride and joy. I go out at night with all the lights off except the one that shines directly down in the water. I watch the fish glide thru the water and you can forget all the things that happened during the day. It is good for my high blood pressure.
y mother bought this little guy for me a few years ago, he has sit on the side of the pond and lost all of his color. My little sis painted him for me and I was so happy and surprised. Had no idea she could paint anything. This is the first time we have lived close together since we grew up and moved away from home. It is so nice to have her close. We are the only two left, mother, daddy and our other sister have all passed.
The 5 & 6 inch fish are from last years crop, there is a bunch of 1& 1/1/2 inch ones that are from this year.
The Fountain.
Tried to post these pics the other night. Left my power cord in the office and my battery went dead on the laptop.
My thanks to each one of you for your prayers and best wishes for my sons recovery. The surgeon removed 12" of colon with the tumor. He thinks the surgery was very sucessful and maybe chemo will not be necessary. Roberet has to see the onogolgist in two weeks for a final decision. We are thinking positive. This is hubby 9Larry) and son Robert. Looks healthy.
Ny son is reasting well tonight, the Dr. seemed very postivie. Thanks for all the prayers .
The post of my dogs. The small one was a pug that belonged to my mother a few yrs years ago. The English Mastiff was mine. He weighed over two hundred #'s. When I moved my mother into my house he was too large to keep in the house with her. She weighed 70#'s. I sent him to the country to live with a friend of mine who had two females. Thought he would be happy there.. Bobbie
