Can we EVER make it?

I swear, trying to make it in this world is SO difficult when it comes to working for your money. I work a dead end job for a measly 500 bucks every 2 weeks... How can anyone EVER make it on that kind of money? I am usually a positive thinker, but sometimes, when I see that silly little paycheck, I wonder, why do I even work? I could spend my time doing other things, house and yeard work... then the large amount of bills my husband and I have would never get paid... just thinking, and just down in the dumps today.

I understand. We had seven children and I was laid off a lot. I just went out and got two jobs and then three jobs. I worked 115 hours a week. Sandy was working just as hard at home with the seven children. You and husband will make through these tough times if just keep working hard. Then some day you will be retired and living on SS just like Sandy and I do. We love it. You have a great day and happy gardening. Bill Mitchell |

Well, I just read your profile. Girl, anybody with enthusiasm like you, can do anything they want! You WILL get through this rough patch. It won't always be this way. Like Bill, I've been there too. Awww, cheer up! This too shall pass! I know, sometimes it seems that we don't or can't get anywhere. Like going 60 and standing still. Hubby and I have had to cinch up our belts a bit and really do some major rethinking about where the money goes. The Lord has blessed. I will pray for you and your hubby. |

We are in the same boat- never any money left at the end of the pay period. I know we'll get through it, we always do- and so will you! |
