My first time!

Alright so it is my frist time growing veggies in a pot, if you have not read my profile, I used to have a large garden, but moved into a town home with my huband, and we now can only grow things in a pot... my Super Sweet 100 is doing GREAT! and my green pepper plant is already producing a pepper about 1/2 the size of a baseball. I was wondering, sinse the plant is so small, should I let the pepper plant continue to put all its energy into that pepper? Or should I let it go? The plant is only about 1 foot tall, not very big.

When mine started producing I only had one pepper and not many blooms. I wanted a Pepper! So, I let it grow until it was big enough to pick, then the blooms started coming. If you want a lot of peppers all at once, pick it now. |

Due to our unseasonal cold weather this Spring, some plants get confused and stressed, bearing fruit quicker than normal to make sure it produces. Pick it when it is ready and you will probably have the same success CarolynCat mentioned. Last edited by SunGirl on July 2nd at 10:34 AM. |
