I've got multiple varieties of Bamboo growing aroiund my home. From contained fast growing short , bamboo Negra (black bamboo) to I believe fastuosa (?) which grows 18-35' tall.
Anyone interested in sharing clean root starts and trading varieties ? Have to be sent I suspect via bare root due to cross border / state issues with bugs but should do fine in this state I'd think. Or those local to Seattle willing to share pics or starts? Lets connect :)

It's that time of year again! Bulbs are blooming, tubers are putting up their first shoots - veggie gardent sprouts of hardy items are coming up ...
and SLUGS are on the move! So how do YOU combat them? Slime trails, beer baths, salt licks, poisons? What have you found that really works for those unattended garden spaces?
