I am, as of 3 hours ago, ON VACATION!! I am headed to Cancun with my wife and some friends on Monday for 5 nights. I was hoping my Burpee seed order would come before I left so I could feel like a kid on Christmas opening it, but it hasnt arrived yet. I stopped by my local K-mart store on the way home, and found that thier Patio section is well under way, and they had a little seed stand set up. I bought some Convolvulus seeds, and some Gaillardia seeds. When I return from vacation, I will begin constructing my seed - starting station. I have two different ideas for it right now. I just need a day in the garage to do some measurin' and cypherin' to figure out which way I want to go. I will be sure to post pictures of the finished product.

Forcast for Cancun next week is 82-86 degrees and sunny. Water temperature good, margarita temperature -- perfect!!

Have a Wonderful Vacation and I am sure you will be thinking garden plans as you lounge poolside! I know you like deals so I thought I would share - Lowes has the best deal around here on soil - $1.49 for 40 lbs. Just got another bag, it was outside in the back and frozen but that's OK! Have a great trip! I looked at your picts...fabulous! I love seeing progression of projects and people's gardening visions for the future. Always a project! I will look forward to reading about yours this coming spring. And, welcome to GG! |
