About Barb_D
As a child, I couldn't grow ivy, cactus, or choke weeds. When I moved into my first house, my new neighbor brought me two African violets. I was so afraid of killing them, that I stuck them in a window (the wrong one) and ignored them -- they loved it! Since retiring, I now garden whenever I can. I can't resist some plants and have a "Fancy To" garden -- for whatever I take a fancy to that doesn't fit anywhere else.
