I finished the one bed this afternoon! Put about a half garden cart full of screened compost (4 inches) in it too. Planted the maple, and 3 penstemon- still a bunch of room for more plants :) I'll try to post some pics tomorrow
Steve listed the Camaro on a few places. Hopefully it will sell fairly quickly. Getting really tired of it sitting in our garage...
The Round-Up'd spot is still green :mad: I don't understand why- I applied it in the heat of the day a few days ago, and we didn't get any rain until today. It's even the brush killer stuff that will kill poison ivy and wild blackberry! I though for certain it could handle bermuda grass LOL! Even the poison ivy that I sprayed still looks healthy. Not that it matters, I don't think I'll be starting on that bed anytime soon- this coming week is going to be hot again. Maybe I'll reapply during the heat...
Well, better get going. I have to do some research before choosing my fantasy football team tomorrow night :)

If you used the Brush killer, it won't do it for the grass/weeds. At least it hasn't for me. You still need to hit it with a round up product. I am going out now to run the mower and then spray the area I am working in the front yard. Linda B |

I sprayed under my pine trees last night to get rid of the new weeds. I'll update you on how long it takes. So far nothing has been affected by the Roundup. I used the poison that also kills grass. |
